This is the  man that converts scrapped parts of cars into sculptures worth  thousands of dollars. The 46-year-old Australian artist James  Corbett,

creates  these sculptures using salvaged old car parts.

One of  the pieces, a ram made from spark plugs, sold for a whopping  $23,000

His sculptures are made  of gears, spark plugs, exhausts, radiators, anything that the artist can  salvage.

After spending weeks  dedicated to locate suitable pieces, James meticulously cleans every part  and welds them together.

He said: "I was  working in a warehouse of scrap and a guy I know, that races stock cars,  showed me a Trophy winner, "Fact with levers of change."

"I looked at it and I  thought that I could do a much better job so I started making my own  sculptures."

"After a period of  time, people began to become more and more into what I was doing and now  what do I with my life, is a dream come to reality."

"On average, each  piece takes a little over two weeks of work, but the larger pieces can take  much longer, he says.

Sculptures using pieces of  old cars; the French and British cars are James' favorites to  retrieve.

James says that  welding of the parts, and the construction of the sculpture is not what  consumes most time of the artist.

"Often the longest part of  the process is finding old parts suitable for sculpture."

The sculptor is  exhibiting his work in the Gallery of John Davies in Moreton-in-Marsh,  Gloucestershire, England, until December 19.

"My two favorite pieces  that I've created for this exhibition are the ram and the wild boar," he  says.

They try to do it all themselves

Have you ever wondered, Kamil, why most people have less trouble with walking and not falling down, talking and making perfect sense, and breathing without stop, than they do with dieting, finding love, or getting rich?

Of course not, but it wouldn't be a bad idea.

It's because with walking, talking, and breathing (which, incidentally, are infinitely more complex than the latter), they engage the magic with intent and expectation, twitch a few general muscles to get things started, and then, with faith, they turn the rest over to me.

In the second group, they try to do it all themselves.

I rock like that,

Kamil, you rock too.

Something that went unexpectedly well

Whenever something doesn't work out the way you thought it would, Kamil, instead of thinking that something went wrong, see it as something that went unexpectedly well, but for reasons that are not yet apparent.

Everything plays to your favor.

Score!

A Note from the Universe

The speed with which any dream may be realized, Kamil, is always a function of how small the miracles have to be in order not to freak out the dreamer.

Hmmmmm...

It is odd, though, given that there are only miracles, how some are more accepted than others, huh Kamil?

Remember learning to ride your first bike?

Do you remember learning to ride your first bike, Kamil? How impossible it seemed at first? And how impossible it now is to imagine it was ever hard? Life within the illusions of time and space is like that, too.

First you checked it out from the sidelines, then you dreamed of your own, and the next thing we knew, off came the training wheels and I dutifully, dotingly, and reluctantly let you go while galloping breathless at your side, as you let rip one wicked, "HANDS OFF!!!!!!!"

And so I watch, beaming with pride over your first solo trips. Impressed beyond belief with your courage and determination. Stunned by your natural talent and ambition to grow. Humbled by your willingness to risk a fall. Comforted by knowing that you're exactly where you most wanted to be. And stretching even my own vast mind, as I ponder and contemplate just how far you will go.

Ride on, brave heart -
    The Universe

You will be home for dinner, won't you, Kamil? All of your favorite things will be waiting....

Is Posterous good for SEO?

Hi. Does anyone have experience with how Posterous help with SEO? Does it help if I autopost to several services? I will appreciate your insights.

Many thanks

New freedoms are found, their acceleration is accelerated, and their blossoms blossom.

Actually, Kamil, as people progress into possessing a greater spiritual awareness, they finally stop relying so heavily on the tools of intellect, logic, and common sense. A new freedom is then achieved, their assent is accelerated, and a blossoming takes place.

But then later, into ever higher and higher realms of human consciousness, these tools are rediscovered and embraced; used with insight, balance, and care. And, would you believe, new freedoms are found, their acceleration is accelerated, and their blossoms blossom.

Who'd have thunk?
